Day 8 Success Team Challenge... A Stranger

One of the most difficult things I feel I have to do as a photographer is approach strangers and ask to take their picture.

I was dreading today's challenge and was tempted to "forget" to do it. But I went ahead and asked... And got TWO strangers!

I am officially going to be full of myself for the rest o the week!

And thank you you wonderful strangers... Maybe we'll end up getting to know each other...

Please understand there would normally be a cat in the midst of all the high-tech Post-It notes... Maybe they've gotten out of control...

No time to clean/organize it right now though. I'm going out to shoot for myself today. See you later...

Day 3 - Night

Today's inspiration/challenge/assignment is "Night"...

Normally when I shoot at night, I get out the tripod and make a minor production of the shoot. But it was a long day and my bed was calling my name. So one more Instagram...

Day 2 - Makes Me Smile

Okay... So I got the title of the project wrong... It's actually the "30 Day Photo a Day Social Media" challenge (which will make it more acceptable for my die-hard photography friends).

30 Days of Instagram... Day 1

I was sitting around with a group of photographer friends last night when one of them challenged us to a 30 day photo challenge... just to get us all shooting on a more regular basis. Since it's been so long since my last post, I decided I'm all for it.

And I've recently joined the ranks of the Instagram fanatics. I wasn't sure how relevant I felt the app was --- after all, I do have a "real" camera. But there are different ways of being relevant. And as a photographer, if I'm not making images, I'm not only not being relevant, I'm not doing the job I chose to do.

So here goes... Day 1. A picture of me... Pre-coffee, pre-hairbrush (not pre-makeup... didn't want to scare anyone).
